Wednesday, November 10th, 2010I want to announce the arrival of our newest trainer to the PerFit Fitness Family, Ms Kim Von Holtz. Some of you have meet Kim already as she has starting training at the PerFit Studio and has been taking the Bootcamp Class on Saturday’s. She will be an apprentice in the Bootcamp Program and will eventually be another Drill Instructor in the Program.
Kim hails from New Jersey, my home state and she is an active member of the National Guard, she has been involved in 2 major operations for our country’s conflicts abroad and for her part we thank her for her service.
Kim is also presently in Massage Therapy School and she will be heading up the PerFit Massage Program after she graduates. Massage is a perceived luxury indulgence and it is that perception we will be changing with the addition of the PerFit Massage Program and more information will be forthcoming on that subject matter at a later date.
Now while Kim is in school she needs to practice her technique and for that we will help her, during this time she cannot charge any money for her practicing as in accordance with state law. However, I can pay Kim for the extra work she is doing while practicing.
So if you would like to schedule an appointment with Kim for a Massage please book through me and I will schedule with Kim. All Payments will be given to PerFit only. The Massages will be given at PerFit just schedule your time and come in and Kim will get the practice and you will get a massage and a glimpse of the future of the one of the New Programs offered from PerFit, Personal Fitness Centers.
45 minute Massages will be $25 and 60 minute massages $35, the different types of massage will be:
Swedish Shiatsu or Russian Sport Massage
This is a great deal as you can see and keep in mind it will not be far from the pricing for the PerFit Massage Program once it starts mid 2011. If you would like a different type of Massage let me know and any deep tissue work please add $10.
Kim is also available for Massages at your location but still you must book and pay through PerFit only at this time.
So when you are ready to book your massage just let me know, call, text, e-mail any form of communication will do and we will get Kim the practice she needs and you will benefit from a great Massage Therapist in the making.
Now moving on the Biggest Winner Contest; the participants are moving forward and some participants are really moving forward, some have hit a plateau, and some have given up. This is the human nature factor; this is the cycle that we see all the time in our Industry Global Wide. For those of you that will not be deterred and may have had a setback for one reason or another, keep the faith! You must stay the course and the course is a Long and Winding Road…..
For those of you that think or thought I will work out really hard for a “period of time” (3,6,9,12 months) and then I will be set and in great shape the rest of my life- I must say Good Luck and let me know how that works out for you. If that theory works please, please let me know how you did it so I can kick back and stop my own workouts please, I beg you.

Now getting back to reality I have some exciting offers for all clients, recruits, Biggest Winner Participants, and friends:
We start training for the A1A 13.1 Mile Race held in Ft Lauderdale which will be held February 20th, 2011. We will be entering this race as a group and we start our training for it Sunday on Hollywood Beach.
I am inviting everyone and anyone that would like to get a good cardio workout to come and join us. This group training is FREE and OPEN to anyone who wants, needs, or desires to lose some extra bodyfat, increase your cardio capacity, give your heart muscle some exercise or just come out for a fun jog with the group on the beach.
Even if you have no desire or plans to actually do the race the training is beneficial for everyone, so send me your siblings, co-workers, family, kids, relatives that stay too long, enemies, acquaintances, and we will all jog along to get along and be better for it in the end!
The training we will be doing will be for Novice and Beginner Runners, those that are ready for the challenge of the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd 13.1 Mile Race, or those that enjoy training in a group. If you are an experience runner of this distance race then you may not find it fitting for your level of running.
We meet at Tyler St Parking Lot just North of the Hollywood Resort Hotel (the Pink Hotel). Parking in the lot will be $2 on Sundays and we will leave promptly at 9:15am.
This week we will start at 9:15 and be finished by 10:15am.
